12 Months - HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Today marks a year. A year ago today I was getting ready to meet you. At 11:28pm you were born. It seems like in a blink of an eye we're here celebrating your birthday. You're a spirited, smart, beautiful, inquisitive, know what you want girl. You've gone from goo goo ga ga's to, mom, dad, up and hi. We've been through so many adventures with you I'm eager to see what the next year has in store for us all.

New things you like/ are doing:

We officially have a walker on our hands! You love to walk everywhere, crawling is clearly a thing of the past for you. You can stand all by yourself and have steadily picked up speed over this past month.

This month you've really really picked up on your baby sign.
The things you sign:
-Milk
-More
-Eat

You're able to give kisses on demand. Although I'd like it if you closed your mouth just a little bit more. Or not licked me when I was puckering up for a kiss lol.
You love to play peek a boo all by yourself. You'll go behind a door frame then pop out. I love playing this game with you!

You love half filled water bottles. Or any kind of liquid filled bottle. I think right now it's safe to say it's your toy of choice and something we love to use when we need to distract you during a diaper change.

Highlights:

We had a lot of fun this month. We traveled to Chatham and visited your grandparents. It was there that you got to have an early birthday cake and had a bunch of fun with your cousins.

We had a ton of fun at a friend of ours wedding. You enjoyed dancing with your father, myself, Grammy and Poppi.

We had your first Halloween. At daycare you went to the parade with Patsy then to the old folks home and really danced it up from what I hear. You were an adorable little owl :) We did get to go to a few houses but your Great Grandmother unfortunately passed away and we had her calling hours this day. I have you say your presence really helped a lot of people who were hurting that day. You gave them smiles when they had such sorrow in their hearts. Especially Poppi.

We also traveled back to Clarkson for the second time and for your very first official knight game. I can't really say that you enjoyed it too much. I really think you just wanted to go walk around, not to mention the steam horn was SOOO loud that we'd have to cover your tiny ears every time it went off during a goal or begining of a period.

We celebrated your First birthday. Frozen style :)

Misc. Thoughts:
My favorite thing of all is to watch your face light up when you see us after being gone for a period of time. This is especially true when we pick you up from daycare. Your feet get kicking and you give this absolutley adorable giggle and BIG BIG grin.
