New things you like/ are doing:

You've said Momma! Now mind you most of the time you say it, it's because you're upset but you're starting to mimic us as we talk or at least when we say dada and mama. Makes my heart leap when I hear it :) Very very special.

You LOVE banana's (Puree that is) whenever we give you them we cannot get it to you fast enough.

Playing peekaboo by yourself.  You had a fun time doing this while Grammy watched you,  while we packed to move into our first and hopefully only bought family home. 

You're waving at people as they wave at you and you love to clap your hands

You cut your second tooth! YAY! Lets just say you weren't happy about that though. 

Dislikes:
The heat, being laid down when you want to sit up, bed time, 

giving you the soother when you're crying - you do not like the soother at all when you're crying. Giving it to you will often make you cry harder. So we've learned to read you a bit better and give it to you only when you're in a calmer state (just to help you sleep)

Highlights:
You were baptized this month. It was truly a special occasion.

Misc Thoughts: Your father normally puts you to sleep. He'll hold you in his arms as you drift off. The past few weeks I've had the pleasure of getting to do this. I must say nothing is sweeter than those special moments with you. Where you snuggle up and slowly drift to sleep. Now it doesn't always happen this way but usually after bath nights you're in more of a receptive mood to sleeping. It's truly something I love getting the chance to do every once in a while. Because I know as each day, week and month passes these moments will become fewer and fewer. I'm trying to hold onto them as much as possible :)

This month I've decided to put a good foot forward and loose some weight. With that we've started taking sunset family walks with cordova and yourself. It's been a lot of fun and I really think  you enjoy seeing all the beauty that there is out in the country.  I'm really hoping this is something we stick to.
